Well, this is the lastest day of 2009 and just I'm making a report about 2009.
2009 was the year that...
* I received more than 15.000 visitors on stefvangorp.be
* I got my temporary driving licence
* I made a lot of fun with my friends and I really love them all! :)
Of course, I did other things this year, but these thing were the most special :-)

Google introduced 'Google Goggles' it's a sort of a visual searchmachine.
I went to the Jewish Museum of Deportation and Resistance today. It was a very interesting trip. But there was a sort of tribute to all the children which died in WWII. And I really had goosebumps of it. There was a voice which was calling all the children's names and you could see all their pictures...
Omg - time to write a new blog entry... because there are already 5 weeks passed =)
I'm still overwhelmed (in the positive way) about yesterday evening, because I went to the Night of The Proms @ Sportpaleis Antwerpen. And it was the first time that I went to the Sportpaleis. And the first thing I said was: Wow! This is so amazing! I can believe that it is a dream of many musicians - singers - ... to stand in front of so many people! We (Melanie, Marie, Sofie, Lise, Marijke, Lisa & Jolien) were standing in front of the stage. And I really liked: Roxette - Toots Thielemans (he's 87-years-old and he plays the harmonica very well) - OMD - John Miles - Sharon den Adel and the Katona Twins! And John Miles ended with the best song ever! You know... 'Music was my first love.. and it will be my last!'

And they were all doing it live! And that's the reason why it is so amazing! :-)
I know, I really have to write a new 'blog-item'...
But, I have an alibi ;p SCHOOL! :-) (And a few other things ofcourse)
So, on 6/09/2009 - we went to Bruges with the orchestra of Kasterlee and it was amazing! We were there with a little group of people from the age 9 to 20 years old and we know each other, but not very well. And that day was the proof that people from all ages can work together and make fun together. I've also met 2 people from America and they were also very nice! They have a granddaughter and she will probably write to me and I hope that my English will become better by writing with her. ;)

And that was also fun, I definitely have to learn many things and I hope that my voice will become better! :)
OMG! Can you believe it?
The summer holidays are over! And I went back to school on Tuesday.
It was quiet strange.. because I know that this is (normally) my last year and we are the people of the '6th year!'
But, it doesn't feel like that at all, we are just the same people as in the 5th year - so.. nothing special!
Well, it was one of the most important weekends of the year. It was the 'Summertronics-Weekend' @ Van Roey Automation. The weather was good and that was very important. You could go into a hoisting crane and it lifted you up to 52 metres! Over there, you could see the skyline of Turnhout and the nuclear plant of Doel! Also Manu went up with us and he took some pictures over there!

You just have to watch to RTV this evening. Because, two people from RTV came to me and took an interview of me. And OMG! I was so nervous, it wasn't normal! I was just feeling so different as normal when they put that camera in front of me! And then, the GVA was also very strange, because I had to take a pose in front of the photocamera and also that was a strange feeling.
Tomorrow there will be an article in the 'Gazet Van Antwerpen' about my 'streetview project'.
I'll post the interviews so fast as possible!

They've found a new piece of Mozart in Salzburg.
And I have to say that I like this piece!
I know - it's another style than what you hear on the radio.
But it's just amazing, they think that Mozart was 7 years old when he wrote this piece. So...
So, I went to Friesland for a few days. The weather was very good there and I went to the 'Zeehondencrèche', the 'Waddenzee' and Bourtange (a very old village). And I took some pictures over there and I really want to show them!

I went to Bobbejaanland today, together with Elise, Ann, Sarah, Nancy, Marius, Yorn & Ben. We had a wonderful time there.
We went more than 8 times in the Indiana River I think.
And the Banana Battle was also great! But the new 'King Kong' wasn't very interesting.
It wasn't that big like they said on the TV etc.
I just want to thank Elise, Ann, Sarah, Nancy, Marius, Yorn & Ben. I really enjoyed this day and I miss you all :(

- I will write some new songs

I just came home and I mentioned that the exams are 'finito! ;D'
I love this feeling, It feels like... it's the end of the exams ;)

Today we went to Arendonk, because we had to play there with our fanfare.
There were so many people there, it wasn't normal.
Normally, when we have to play at another place, there is like, 40 people. But today, there were more than 100 people, I think. And that was quiet special. ^^
I have my trumpet exam on Tuesday.

We went to Centerparcs at Lommel today with JFK (Jeugd Fanfare Kasterlee). First of all we gave a concert there. And afterwards we went to the pool.
We had a very pleasant time together!
It was amazing!

I went to RTV a week ago. It was for our 'Arbeidsoriëntatie' (a sort of placement). I learned so much over there and it was so interesting that I definitely want to go back.
I went on a survey with Nico & Ruben, we took an interview of Edmond Phlips (manager of Racing Mechelen) and we went to Puurs, there was Kris Peeters and he opened the season of the asparagus. 
The second day I sat a whole day in front of a screen. (The editing of Trendiez, a weekend program). And it's fun to be creative, you can do whatever you want in the editing!
And the third day I watched to the recording of Trendiez and the recording of the daily journal. It was quite amusing to see.
But, I saw how stressful it was for the director. Because, some things weren't ready yet... and every second was very important!
I love Photoshop ;-)

We went with our school Trier on Tuesday . It was a wonderful trip, I really liked it. The bus driver had to stop just before Luik, because the bus was "smoking" which wasn't that good at all xD
So, we arrived one hour too late at Trier. 
Then, we had to find answers to some questions like: search the house of Karl Marx etc. And we had to do this in German and YES! it was quite fun :-).
After that, we went to a wine brewery (http://www.vonnell.de) and there, we got a guided tour through the wine cellar.
Afterwards, we could taste some wine and he was very good! ;-)
This was the first year of my life that I've had busy holidays, the first week I went to Oostende with Ben, Koen, Esther & Ida. And on Friday, it was our 'Suprise-activity' (Verrassingsactiviteit met de Jeugdfanfare). Check pictures on my website!
At weekend, I went with my parents to Duisburg at Germany. We went out for a walk and I've taken a lot of pics...!
Then, Monday evening, there was a party @ Ben's place, we've made a lot of fun and a lot of noise ;)
And last but not least, I went to De Haan with Pleun, Tess, Caroline, Michelle, Veronique, Ines, Ann, Ben & Chiel, I really loved it and I miss them so much! I really want to go back! 
I went to Oostende with Esther, Ida, Koen and Ben for four days, and I really loved it!
The weather was good (= no rain) and the sorority (''Gezelschap'') too!
We went on Wednesday evening to Sensai, a Japanese restaurant with a whole show, the chef shot the food right into your mouth!
It was delicious!
The girls were sometimes very active ('Can you please shut up?') and sometimes very calm ('Are you still alive? :D).
But now, I really have to say that I miss them! (Because it is very calm at our place.)
I miss the girls, Ben & Koen, I miss the chumminess and... just the way they are.

A few minutes ago, I thougt: Super! The kids at our school know how to pull out the monitor cables ^^
But, it wasn't so super at all... no single one started!
I just came back from the hairdresser when I mentioned to my mum how easy it would be to grab something out of a car or a lorry.
I saw a lorry filled with soft drinks (coke, lemonade, …)
The doors of the lorry were wide open and there was nobody nearby, so if you wanted to you could grab as many drinks as you can.
A bit after that I saw a supplier for medicine. He had also left his doors open,
so you could do exactly the same here.
People always nag that there are too many people that steal stuff, but shouldn’t they just close their door next time?

Yesterday, I thought:'Yay! the sun is shining!' it felt like it was summer.
And what do we get today? Rain and a strong wind.
That's the reason why I hate Belgium...
But, I think, that most people think that the grass is always greener on the other side.
I went to the ‘handelsbeurs in Turnhout’ today.
It’s really funny to observe the vendors, they always think that they’re better than everyone else (and of course their products are too.)
When you enter the ‘HAVO beurs’, you practically get attacked by people promoting Mobistar. It seems like they want to eat you or something (=. All the vendors try to convince you that you don’t have the right subscription and all that but if you ask them about another formula they have no idea what you’re talking about.
Well I hate them!
